Retnia is a Canadian company that provides innovative, non-invasive ocular oximetry tools to researchers and eye-care professionals.

The technology enables researchers and eye-care professionals to gain insight into pathophysiological and metabolic processes. It offers applications for screening, diagnosing, monitoring, and managing the care of diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration.

how it works

How it works

Retnia’s technology is based on a patented instrument coupled with a unique software to accurately measure, non-invasively and in real-time, the concentration of oxygen in the human eye. Light reflects on the eye fundus and is analyzed to provide accurate measurements which are then clearly presented in a user-friendly environment.
